Rapid Systems Inc, Tampa FL is looking for an inhouse technical support
person.
Job Description:
In-House entry level position with majority telephone technical support
to all residential and business customers; troubleshoot internet
dialup/DSL/wireless issues; provide information on how to set-up/use
internet products; provide excellent customer service and answer
presales questions. THIS IS NOT A TYPICAL CALL CENTER . The goal of the
support department is to provide an exceptional level of customer
service by meeting and surpassing all the needs of our clients while
connecting with them on a human level.
Note: May work overtime, both planned and call-in.
Job Duties
Include:
- Troubleshooting for PC (Win 95, 98, ME, NT, 2K, XP, Vista)
& Mac Operating Systems, specifically Device Manager and TCP/IP
configuration.
- Providing detailed instructions on how to set up/configure
and troubleshoot data connections.
- Using trouble ticketing system for tracking customer
interactions and problem resolution as well as various administrative
tools and online resources for troubleshooting.
- Answer telephone support calls for customers with issues
Qualifications:
- Must demonstrate the ability to understand and communicate
complex and technical information clearly and concisely, adjusting
language and terminology to the needs of the customer.
- Support a growing number of internet products.
- Continuously demonstrate proficiency in product knowledge
and call handling skills.
- Adapt to continuous change while remaining open to coaching
and developmental feedback.
- Highly motivated individual who can multi-task and thrive
in a fast-paced working environment.
